PROJECT TIMELINE

COMPLETED 2024:

  • Land Secured

  • Briefing of First Nations management representatives

  • Connection Application made to Powerlink

  • DA site investigations and reports 2024

  • DA lodged with Gladstone Regional Council

UNDERWAY 2024:

  • Cultural Heritage Management Agreement

  • DA assessment by Gladstone Regional Council

  • Grid studies, GPS, and connection Access Agreement

Future stages and timing will be announced as project approvals progress. Rutherglen is expected to be operational in 2028
